What an incredible blessing it was to be Pastor Emily’s guest on the show! I am so grateful that YHWH opened the door for us to meet. I was amazed as we talked and discovered how much we have in common, especially our shared heart to serve YHWH, love people, and help those who are hurting find healing and hope.
I feel truly blessed and honored that I was invited to share part of my overcoming story and testimony. Sharing some of the most painful parts of our lives is not always easy, but when YHWH has brought us through something, our testimony can become a light for someone who may still be walking through the darkness.
My prayer is that if anyone was listening who has experienced sexual abuse, especially someone who has carried shame, fear, guilt, or lies because of what was done to them, they heard this truth clearly:
What happened to you does not define who you are. Someone else's sin against you does not become your identity. There is healing, freedom, and hope in Yeshua.
For 54 years, I carried a lie about what happened to me as a child. YHWH has shown me that I was never dirty or impure. I was a child, and my purity was never theirs to take. If sharing my testimony helps even one person begin to see themselves through YHWH's truth instead of through the wounds of their past, then every difficult word I shared was worth it.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 KJV
